Description:
Lobby Renovation of a High-rise Condo building. This upscale condo building in the Gold Coast of Chicago needed to be completely renovated and updated, taking into account both the entry vestibule and the lobby. We needed to appeal to a broad range of tastes of the unit owners and responsive to longevity of the design.

Design Concepts:
We were inspired by the contemporary style of the building, and creating an open and inviting space. First, We replaced the old tile floors with 24" x 24" limestone floor tile in a detailed pattern to add interest and durability. Second, We introduced stained rift cut oak wall panels to add distinction and warmth to a formerly static and cold interior . By incorporating new cove lighting and wall sconces we were able to brighten the space and enhance visual interest. To finish off the look, new lounge seating and a custom wool and silk rug bring luxury, comfort, and an element of softness into the space.
